Fondex - Microfine Grout Design

The owners of a steep residential block wanted to remove elevated garden beds and reclaim underutilised areas. They contacted Foundation Engineering to design a soil retention system using Microfine Cement Grout.

Taking into account:

  • Location of underground services
  • Restricted working space / access
  • Ground conditions
  • Impacts on neighbouring property

Foundation Engineering designed a formation capable of resisting the soil pressure and accommodating a 5Kpa surcharge that would allow the owner to safely and easily expand useable space on a difficult site.
